My favorite time of the year…The 23rd annual Christmas Jam Pre Jam at the Orange Peel! This is always the highlight of the weekend for me, it’s the intimacy of the Peel I believe, Asheville feels like home. The show is a benefit for Habitat for Humanity, every one pitches in for a worthwhile cause. It’s great to reconnect with old friends and it’s an all around really great time.
The music is as good as it gets. Warren Haynes, Los Lobos, Bella Fleck, Jeff Sipe, Jimmy Herring, Joe Russo, Phil Lesh, Jeff Chimenti, and the list goes on….

The Ryan Montbleau Band finished out their tour last night at City Winery in NYC. The fabulous Jason Spooner Trio has been the supporting act and the bands are a perfect match. The intimacy of the venue and incredible talent made for a wonderful evening, not one song that didn’t hold my attention. love that.
